WWII Diary – KIA Soldier’s Wife’s

Vintage World War II-era Five Year Diary – WWII Diary

WWII Diary

This eBay auction is for a World War ll-era Five Year Diary measuring 4&1/2″ x 6&1/4″ x 1″

It contains comments of a Florida soldier’s wife whose husband served and was killed in the war. There are 2 photos which were inside the diary. The wife had 2 small children, and gives accounts of them as well as her beloved husband. One entry mentions that he was in Casablanca, another that they met in Washington DC.

Very sad entry from December 14 says “Tel. from War Department states Bill was killed November 9. I shall never believe it. I have lived this long without my heart.”

Have a look!
